Let's be honest – vegan food gets a bad wrap. Many people believe eating vegan food involves eating limp piles of kale and flavorless tofu. I hope this blog can show you that plant-based food can be delicious, filling and easy to prepare. All recipes on this blog are free from animal products, refined sugars and refined grains.

I'm a writer, photographer and lover of the outdoors. A Seattle-native, I grew up surrounded by nature and a variety of cuisines. In a family comprised entirely of meat-eaters, I quickly learned that if you want people to eat plant-based food, it needs to be simple, satisfying and tasty.
